Light the tip of the stick carefully; it should begin smouldering, and if a flame persists, gently blow on it. Position the stick on a level, heat-resistant surface, keeping it out of reach of pets and children. Burn the incense in a well-ventilated room, but away from draughts. While the incense stick and ash may not produce a flame, they are hot when alight. Ensure the incense is kept away from flammable materials. Never leave a lit incense stick unattended. Avoid inhaling incense smoke. Refrain from moving a lit incense stick. Dispose of spent sticks and ash carefully once they have completely cooled.
